A fully procedural pipeline through to Unreal Engine

Go-Karts VR was a virtual-reality karting project with Master of Shapes. Primary level design and asset production were done in Houdini.

A series of procedural tools allowed for quick iteration and a fully procedural pipeline through to Unreal Engine — the level could change and rebuild without hand-rework downstream.

Level Design in Houdini

Primary level design and asset production were done in Houdini, built as a series of procedural tools.

Procedural meant quick iteration — the track and its assets could be regenerated instead of remodeled.
