Tour Visuals — LOGAN
Tour visuals for Miley Cyrus's 2014 Bangerz Tour, created at LOGAN under creative director Diane Martel with artist Geoffrey Lillemon.
The tour's screen content was a maximalist, artist-driven collision of animation styles across 40-foot screens — every song got its own visual world. My piece was the jet-ski backdrop — full-screen animated content built to run behind the live performance.
Why it matters: arena screen content plays to the back row. Everything has to be legible at distance and hold up next to twenty other artists' work in the same show.
The piece as it ran — full-screen animated content built to play behind the live performance.
A maximalist, artist-driven collision of animation styles — one visual world in a show where every song got its own.
Built big and bold enough to hold up next to twenty other artists' work in the same show.

"Arena screen content plays to the back row — everything has to be legible at distance."
The world around the ride — built to read from the back row of an arena, on 40-foot screens, behind a live show.
