In this first lesson, we learn how to manipulate Heighfteilds with Heighdfield Noise We explore creating terrain layers using tools to create Heighfield Masks. We learn how to mask by feature and use the Highfield Flownde. We create an updatable pipeline by writing out our terrain to disk and creating a Houdini Digital Asset.
